Today we’re super excited to share some gorgeous wedding photography from Amy + Jay’s Revival House wedding in Stratford!
If you caught any of the sneak peek from Amy + Jay’s Revival House wedding, you know you’re in for a treat! Not only were these guys one of our best-looking couples of the year, but the city and venue that they chose are also one of our local favourites! David’s family is from Stratford, so every time we get to shoot a wedding there it brings back fond memories of visiting the grandparents, feeding the swans in the park, and trying to find parking somewhere within a mile or two of that park on a Stratford Festival day. Okay, so that last part isn’t always fun, but everything else was pretty much perfect for this wedding!
Our associate Lucas from Kaehler Photo filled in for Kara for this one, and did a killer job as always. David started with the girls while Lucas started with the guys, and once everyone was ready we headed to Revival House for the ceremony. The venue is an old, restored church, complete with stained glass windows that the sun streams through. After a beautiful, emotional ceremony and some family pictures outside the venue, we headed to the park (and eventually found parking) for some portraits with the happy couple and their tiny (but super fun) wedding party!
After returning to Revival House the party got started, and continued late into the night. The dinner was great, the dancing was fun, and the dessert was the best part! Before we finished up we snuck outside for a few Nightscape photos of the newlyweds, and then hit the road. We’re super happy with how everything turned out, and we’re excited to share some of our favourites from this beautiful day below!
